Seriously. Russia is amazing. Go there now.1
Perhaps my Russian люблю праздник is only because I came in with lower expectations, but overall it’s been an amazing week here.2 I wish we had more time. We could have spent a week in Moscow and two in St. Petersburg.
Opulence. Russia haz it.
Ah, remember this commercial?3
St. Petersburg is B-E-A-utiful.
Today we spent the afternoon at the Peterhof palace outside of St. Petersburg. I’ll leave the details for the eventual full-coverage post on RedheadRoamer.com.
But opulence.
Man, does Russia ever has it:
This is probably the second most amazing and over-the-top-wealthy-cool day trip I’ve done.4 5 6
One more down.
We leave for Finland tomorrow. Sorry to say Dasvidanya to Russia. It was amazing.
So going out with a bang with a quick blog post.

Nothing beats Versailles. ↩
Note to my Kentucky homies… love y’all, but I mean the actual Ver-“Sigh”; not Ver-“Sails” ↩
If you are not from Kentucky, that joke was lost, but the town next to Lexington is called Versailles but is actually pronounces Ver-Sails. ↩
That’s about $0.84 ↩
Uggggh….. head….about…..to….explode…wanting….to…do….obvious….stereotypical…..blog….sign-off…..”From-Russia-With-Love”….. ↩

Ha. I don’t think you could leave without at least one “from Russia with love.” It’s mandatory.
